| - Don't be like me. Don't read these negative reviews and think to yourself, "nah, those are just the bad ones...surely there's been plenty of happy customers here that just never got around to writing a shining 5 star review". Let me tell you right now, there isn't. It's a miracle this place is still in business with the way they handle things and customers.
We came here on Sunday February the 21st to view a used Ford F-250 they had advertised on the site. We took a look at the truck, drove it around, liked it, and to make this part shorter, decided to purchase the truck. This process in itself was a complete nightmare because these guys simply can NOT fill out paperwork correctly. Before we ever even took the vehicle off the lot, we had to go back and forth, and sign the same papers 2, sometimes 3 times. We weren't able to actually even get the vehicle until February 23rd.
No less than an hour after driving the truck off the lot, it started blowing coolant all over the place and leaking oil. We had driven it maybe 20 miles total. The next day, Cartwright towed the truck back. There simply isn't enough space to write all the details of this, but they had the truck for just short of 3 weeks after this. Finally one day after having the lending company on their tail, they call and say the truck is ready. My wife gets there, drives to the corner of Trop & Paradise, which is maybe a 1/10th of a mile from their lot (they're on that corner)...and the truck completely dies. She was able to get it started, and luckily get it back to them. Another week or so goes by, and according to them we're finally good to drive the truck off the lot with no issues...obviously not the case. We get it home, still leaking oil, and then the very next day with a total of maybe 50 miles on the truck the front driveshaft just pops out of the truck while driving. Thankfully we weren't far from a Walmart, was able to get some bungee cords and get the truck home.
After several phone calls back and forth, Cartwright agrees to come get the truck. I'm thanking my lucky stars now for keeping in contact with the lending company this entire time as they agreed the truck was not safe, and agreed to cancel the loan for us. It wasn't an easy feat, and these guys are probably on their last leg, but I was also able to get the cash down payment back from them as well. All in all, we bought the truck and over nearly a month period, didn't have 1 full day of being able to actually be in possession of and drive the truck. These guys basically admitted they didn't check the truck, and said things just "slipped through the cracks". But I thoroughly believe if it weren't for the lending company, I'd be stuck with a POS and 5 years worth of payments left on it.
I wish there was enough room in here to describe in details everything that happened, the lies these guys feed you, the way they treat customers with no respect, and just downright incompetency for things as simple as writing down your name correctly and calling you back. If you're at all considering to buy a vehicle from this place, change your mind quickly. Run, don't walk, away from this place. You will regret every last second from the moment you walk in the door to the second you find yourself on the side of the road broken down in one of the vehicles sold here.
