This is actually the second time I've been to this restaurant. It's wedged in the corner of a strip mall and took me about 2 years to find again!
We requested an order of spring rolls to split as an appetizer. They were definitely different than other restaurants I've visited: the shrimp were placed whole and the pork was almost sugar coated, in small pea-sized lumps. There was also a lot of vermicelli. They tasted fine, but the texture was a bit off to me.
I always get the rare beef pho, no matter where I am. This particular time, though not terrible, was unimpressive. The noodles were the wrong size. I'm pretty sure the sliced meat was pork and not beef. The broth was.... meh.
The REAL kicker came in the beverage department. I ordered an iced coffee with cream (viet style) and was served the equivalent of a coffee slushee with boba balls. Let me correct myself: tapioca mush. It wasn't ball-shaped anymore. My mom's mango beverage was very perfumey.
All-in-all, an ok place. Not a restaurant I would frequent, but may visit occasionally if I'm in the area.
