| - I leased a Mazda 3 from More Mazda on april 24, 2014. First of all I was in a pinch for a vehicle because my previous car was having transmission problems, and I was scheduled to move to NY on April 28th. I like mazdas, and know a very reputable dealer in NY so I figured a Mazda would be a good choice, and make the search for a vehicle simple. So I did the online thing trying to find the best dealer in the area, and was contacted by several sales associates from different locations. I thought More Mazda offered my the best price, and seemed like they would help me out with my situation. I spent over 6 hours hashing out a lease deal.
That was just day 1. I had to return the next day with my mother so she could co-sign. I also had a hitch on my previous vehicle that i asked be removed and returned so I could attempt to sell it or see if it could be used on the new car. I also needed to get a front license plate holder, since NY has both front and back plates. Well apparently no one had a clue about front holders and asked us to return the next day. So on day 2 my mother signed paperwork, oh and so did I since the "screwed up" the first lease.
So day 3, we return to attempt get the front holder, and again the hitch. They realized there were pre-screwed holes in the front, and I wouldn't need a holder. Oh and still no hitch, they had sold the old car to a wholesaler and would need to get it back in order to remove it. Mind you every time i drove out there was about 30 minutes one way!
After several phone calls, now made by my sister and father, because apparently my nice tactics were not working, we were able to get the hitch from my old car, and oh trip number 4 to the dealership.
Then all was said and done I could be on my way to NY with no more interaction with this company right?! Wrong! Halfway through the drive I get a phone call saying that they messed up on the math on the lease and needed me and my mother to sign yet another copy. Well I took my time signing the lease and eventually sent it back after careful review, and a 3rd party opinion that the lease did not change any of the items I agreed to. So again all should be said and done, but nope. I was given temporary plates which expire soon, and I have been expecting to receive real plates in the mail, as per the discussion I had with one of the many people I dealt with at More. Well no plates have arrived, and I dont even know if my vehicle is properly registered, so of course more to deal with. I also have yet to receive any kind of bill to make a payment...
Do Not Deal With This Dealership, unless you like wasting a lot of time, and energy, and being confused on the daily about what is going on.
