  • Omahgah definitely getting bang for your buck! Large portions at decent prices. As soon as I arrived in Vegas for my friend's bday, we had lunch at Aloha. Dining area was full, line was at the door, folks enjoyed their dishes amongst the chatter. I debated on one of the specials: mix of chicken & beef teriyaki, plus spam musubi, but changed my mind last minute to a mahi mahi plate and a side order of musubi. I was in the mood for crispy fish, but the 3 filet portion I received was dipped in something akin to pancake batter. Clean cut white fish went well with dabs of tartar sauce, but wasn't the texture I was looking for. So much rice! Couldn't even finish a quarter of it. Musubi was ok, more sweet sauce than I'm used to. A friend commented the spam was salty in her egg plate. Another friend ordered the pork (soft) tofu, it's a sweetened brothy dish in a bowl. Saimin noodle soup looked good! Lacking meat though. Lots of Hawaiian options, didn't get to try the coconut haupia dessert because we got Lappert's ice cream across the walkway. Get in line, order at the counter, wait for your food to be brought out. They accelerate table turn around rate by posting signs not to save tables. Polite staff. Grab a bite during gambling breaks, if that's your thing.
