normally, I fly into Canton-Akron airport when I visit my relatives out in Ohio, but this was closer to my cousin whose house I was staying at. also, I hold no real loyalty to any airline, so I just go for whatever's cheapest and/or most convenient. capitalism: it works, bitches!
CLE is a decently-sized but modern airport. since both my arrival and departure were on a small CRJ200, it was just a short walk between plane and gate.
whole place is brightly lit and easy to navigate. It's in great shape and really clean. even the bathrooms. EVEN THE BATHROOMS! Security took almost no time.
multiple food courts and shops to kill time in, including several bars (Great Lakes Brewery has a pub here).
I work in the aviation industry, so I am glad to pass this bit of aircraft trivia on to you, thanks to The Almighty Wikipedia: the first air traffic control tower was built here, and so was the first airfield lighting system!
