  • The resort is beautiful. The staff is completely incompetent. We ran an event at the Scottsdale Resort and the contract was completely one-sided and dishonest. Many verbal commitments made were not honored. The hotel website does not function with mobile phones for group reservations. The hotel claimed nothing could be done. Obviously they didn't even care to call their programmers. Meeting rooms weren't ready or cleaned. The AV crew didn't bother checking batteries. Rooms promised were later denied. Guests of our event complained about roaches, over charges on their bills, and the near lack of gluten free foods in the dining room. Let me summarize, there are many hotels in Scottsdale. If you are thinking of hosting an event, you should explore other options.
