| - Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with an urgent care. I made an appointment for my husband, who was having intense stomach pains and nausea. When we arrived they were unable to process our insurance and demanded that we pay the $50 charge upfront, which were my first hints that something was off about this place.
About a half hour after our appointment was scheduled to begin, we were finally ushered into a room. This "room" did not inspire much confidence in me as the chairs and patient table looked like they were from the 1800s, and there was dirt and black mold all over the floor and warped doorway.
Fifteen minutes later the "doctor" walked in. This "doctor" was wearing a sweater, jeans, and UGG boots. No lab coat, notebook, thermometer, anything. She barely touched my husband before announcing that he had a stomach infection (how can you know that if you don't even ask any questions or touch his stomach in the first place?). I tried to explain his symptoms but she cut me off to ask my 24-YEAR-OLD husband if he had gone "poo poo" lately. Seriously?? She then told us that he probably ate something weird (even though this nausea and stomach pain had been going on for 48 hours) and that he needed to take some medicine.
Here's the really fun part. We actually followed her advice and got him the prescriptions she recommended. My husband started feeling MUCH worse afterwards and we rushed him to the hospital, where a REAL doctor told us that one of the prescriptions had NOTHING to do with his symptoms and actually combatted the other medicine so that his symptoms increased.
I will not only NEVER be visiting this facade of an urgent care again, but I will also be demanding by $50 back. PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not come here if you have any sort of condition.
