  • Don't come here, don't you dare book a room and stay here! Wait, what? I'm giving this place five stars and saying don't come here? Yes I am, because I don't want YOU to stay here. I want this place all to myself. With that said I'm just staying overnight while on a work trip and this was actually the only place that had a nice room within my allowed work budget. At first I was unhappy that I had to stay at a Marriott while in Vegas. I like to stay at different LV hotels and see whats different and interesting about each one. Then I had to wait in a rather long line to get to the valet, which this hotel is valet only. Once I got inside the hotel I noticed that there is no casino. Let me say that again, THERE IS NO CASINO IN THIS HOTEL which also means THIS HOTEL IS NON SMOKING. No constant, annoying loud noises coming from the slot machines, no nasty cigarette smoke in the air and no dumb drunk people stumbling around. That all made me feel a bit better, then I was told that valet parking is free making me a bit happier. I got up to my room (3302), opened the door and was blown away. I knew I was getting a Villa room, but I didn't know I was getting one this big or nice. I sure as hell didn't expect it in Vegas where those big name hotels charge you two arms and a leg for a tiny trendy room and the ability to go to their pool clubs and act like a drunken douche. My room had a full kitchen and I mean full. Full size fridge, full size stove/oven combo, microwave, an actual full size coffee maker, toaster, and dishwasher along with everything else you need to cook and eat. Then you have a full size circular glass dining room table that seats six with a large TV with Blu-Ray player, sofa bed and two more chairs next to a great view of part of the strip, but even better the Nevada mountains. Bedroom is nice and large and has a door that separates the bedroom from the rest of the room. A very large bathroom with a very large tub with a vanity in front of it so the ladies can do their makeup. The bathroom also has a flat shower(no tub, which I love). To top it all off, there is a washer/dryer combo in a closet, which even though my cloths weren't all that dirty, I thought what the hell let me wash some cloths. Now what this hotel, doesn't have aside from a self parking garage, a casino and allowed smoking is it doesn't really have any major restaurants, shops, variety of bars, a super fancy pool, clubs or any of those other things the larger hotels offer. But if your looking for a more wholesome, homely, family experience in a hotel in LV this is definitely the place to stay. I think its nice to be able to live through the gungy, naughty dirtiness of Las Vegas during the day, but then be able to come back to a hotel room that feels like home at night or take a day off and relax in your room and feel like your home without having to clean up after yourself and all for a unlike Vegas price.
