| - So here's the deal, I like the wide variety of things on the menu. They're open 24/7 and have a causal vibe with a decent ambiance. You can get anything from traditional diner breakfast to Italian, Mexican, and Chinese. So if it's late night and you don't know what you want, it's a nice spot. However, I'm thinking that with this wide variety, the quality may suffer.
I ordered the parpadelle with short rib ragu. Sounds delicious doesn't it? Well I'd say it was an issue with quality of ingredients, and partially preparation. The short ribs were tough and chewy and not trimmed properly, and the parpadelle was slightly undercooked. My friend ordered a cheese steak sandwich and her said it was... Ok.
All in all not too bad, but not that good. And we were also waiting to be helped for about 20 minutes before anyone came to the table. I think it was a miscommunication on who's section the table was in, so I understand, but still...
Has potential, could use some work.
