  • I went to see Dr.Bartels a few times.I really liked him as a doc but would never go back. The few times I went,I was left sitting in the waiting room for literally hours.I try to be patient as I understand in such a specialty emergencies can often come up.The front office staff was cold and impersonal and never updated any of us in the waiting room.I did wonder if my chart had been lost. When you finally actually get to see the doc,once the official medical stuff is out of the way,he will try and sell you an ablation or cosmetic surgery.Face lifts for "down there"????What is this world coming to???? The back office staff is rushed so one tends to feel their being corraled like sheep. Yes,the office is very busy.Yes,Dr.Bartels is on Phoenix Magazine's "Top Docs"list year after year. When you go to any medical office,you end up spending more time with their support staff than the M.D. or N.P.In this case MUCH more time. I have since switched to a gyn who is not as popular with the trophy wife set,but I feel my overall care is much more personalized and cosmetic surgical options are not the most important factor of care.
