I was never a big fan of fancy grocery stores.....especially ones with electric car charging ports like this one!
Walked in and was greeted by a vast variety of amazing smells coming from the prepared food section. There is a grill, pizza shop, sushi, sandwich, and of course a Buffett style offering of many different types of cuisines. The salad bar is the most colorful I've ever seen. These aren't your typical grocery store hot foods bar... There was Indian food, Thai food, fresh seafood ... Just to name a few. The cost goes by weight which is $8.99/lb. a little pricey, but if you play your cards right you can get a variety of great options for the same or less as you would at a sit down restaurant. There is plenty of seating inside and out.
After you finish your meal... Head over to the desserts where you'll find a variety of options... Many of which are vegan.
My biggest highlight is the seafood section. I've always been skeptical of buying seafood in CLE, but whole foods guarantees freshness. Their fish mongers are knowledgable and extremely helpful. I'm planning on doing a low country boil this fall, and will be purchasing everything from the seafood section. They also offer clam bakes. For $12 you get a monster plate of food... 1/2 chicken. 12 clams. Half sweet potato. Corn. Roll. Oh so good!
There are so many great things at this location. Even if you're on a tight grocery budget like my family, whole foods is a great place to splurge a little. My wife also found that some items are same and even lower than our usual grocery store.
They even accept Apple Pay!!
Enjoy!
