This is the only hotel I have stayed at over the last 5 years in Las Vegas. Just stayed last week. The hotel, opened in 2007, is still in great shape but they are starting a very extensive remodel. The top floor, the 5th floor, was closed and being completely remodeled during our stay (we took a peek at it & it's a disaster zone...in a good way) . We never heard a peep from the construction even staying just below it (we were warned by the front desk construction would be 9 to 5...although we saw workers outside those hours). This hotel was very well built - originally intended to be a time share property but opened as hotel instead - and has great sound proofing between floors, rooms and the outdoors. The construction workers were friendly, too.
Although you don't come to Las Vegas to watch tv, Staybridge Suites Las Vegas has more tv channels than any other hotel I have ever been in. Literally hundreds. Internet connection was very good most times but got a little slow in the late afternoon hours. Not as good as on previous stays. Standard Staybridge Suites breakfast and it was well stocked and maintained. Better than in past stays. But the Evening Social (Monday-Wednesday) was poorly maintained and lacked variety from past stays. It also opened 5 or minutes late. Due to a Las Vegas law, unlike other Staybridge Suites locations, there is no wine or beer at the evening social. That isn't their fault, though.
This hotel is directly across the street from where the new Raiders football stadium is to be built starting late this year. I hope the noise from that construction does not impact this property but we'll see once it starts.
