  • I have been here a couple of times and it's been a 'meh' experience. Hair color and cut hasn't been great but I wanted to stick with an organic salon. The products smell nice and aren't as painful as traditional hair colors. Nice line of nail polishes and facial care. Most recently I went in with a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like, and by no means was i asking for a miracle. I don't have thick, black, curly hair but asking for Gwyneth Paltrow's stick straight, platinum blonde hair. I have natural medium brown hair that had grown out about 3inches and the rest of my hair was a dark blonde. I asked for side bangs with some volume and a rich brown color with a few highlights. What I got was a stick straight, nearly middle part cut bangs and mouse brown hair with no dimension. It looks atrocious. I explained why I was upset and both the owner and the stylist tried to convince me it looked kindof like the picture. I have eyes and it most certainly did not! Then I was informed the girl in the picture probably had wavy hair that had been blown out and then curled (?) Well then I should have been informed that I might not have any volume to my hair if I don't have natural curl. Plus when you blow dry it straight, then it's going to come out straight, no? Actually when my hair is wet and I put it up in a bun and it dries, it's pretty curly. Anyway, it cost me $200 for a color I could have gotten from a box and a cut I probably could have done myself (as I have cut my own hair before and my next stylist said it looked great). Supremely disappointed and almost in tears.
