First impressions are everything, especially when the expectation is that I will be handing over hundreds of dollars for a service. I really wanted to get my consultation and treatment; showed up early to fill out the paperwork that was never sent to me before hand and then waited, and waited. The girl at the front finally told someone else that the doctor was running late, and I asked how long- 20 minutes or more from that point, which was already 15 minutes late. She said the 'doctor came in late this morning and has been running late all day.'
I drove 27 miles to get here in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. I came early, because you called me the day before and asked to move my appointment up. If you know the doctor is running late, the least you can do is pick up the phone and call the appointments. I took an hour out of my day, drove across town, for nothing. I don't know why you would expect that I would pay for a service that can't even bother to be on time or inform the clients if there is an issue. My time is as precious as yours, and you just wasted it. Maybe I should send you a bill like you would if I showed up 35 or more minutes late?
