In Boulder City for the holidays and was looking for something other than chicken wings, burgers and fries (which I do enjoy) after 4 straight days of over indulgence. I was very hesitant to try a Sushi restaurant in a town where the culinary diversify historically (last 20+ yrs.) consisted of one Chinese food buffet (now closed) and two marginal Mexican restaurants. The hesitation quickly dissolved as I walked in and was greeted by the friendly young hostess/server and the sight of beautiful slabs of fish being sculpted by the obviously very experienced sushi chef behind the bar. The fish was fresh and the rolls were big, innovative and delicious. This place could hold its own anywhere and was a gift to find at perfect time while on vacation in BC!
