Been ordering the tempura fried lobster since 2011 and have never been disappointed until recently. It seemed to be fried in a different type of oil that made it soggy. I sent an email to inquire and never received a response. This experience combined with the failure to respond on such a high priced item garners a 3 star rating rather than the 5 I would have given it prior to this visit.
Oh and our server informed me that the piece of plastic I thought I bit down on in the calamari was actually cartilage (insert side eye). We were given another batch and it was delicious.
A simple email back acknowledging a cooking oil change or an apology for a bad night would have been reassuring. Now I am skeptical about coming back to try it again.
