  • The worst sephora ever. I see that I'm not alone in receiving horrendous "customer service" from this location. I walked into the Sephora and there was one person working and one customer. The Sephora employee (Amanda, if I remember correctly) did not find it necessary to even acknowledge my existence with a "i'll be right with you" or "just a moment" nope not a word. She completely ignored me while she attended to the other customer and added in a bunch of small talk while I waited. After the customer left she STILL did not say a word to me. I approached her and asked her for some make up suggestions. She mentioned a few lip glosses and then decided that it was important to tell me that I have "blotchy skin" and that it was "discolored" thanks.....and funny enough I've only ever received compliments on my skin. Even though she was rude I asked her for an eye liner suggestion and she proceeded to actually say that she "was the only person working so couldn't show me more" this was after her "helping" me for TWO minutes and after I waited for over TEN. I told her to go ahead and help the other customer. Since it was evident that she for whatever reason, did not want to help me. I grabbed a few items and wanted to pay and gave her my beauty insider information but she "couldn't find" it. I said that was interesting because I have NEVER had that issue before. Then she tried to tell me that my e-mail was imputed wrong. I asked her how I received every single e-mail from sephora then, also every single receipt? She doubled down on her lie of the wrongly entered information (the girl at the chandler store which I went to after this told me that my e-mail had to be right if I got all the other e-mails and had no previous issues). I told her to just forget the transaction after she continued to talk down to me. I said it was clear she did not want to help me since I waited over 10 minutes and then she couldn't be bothered to help me after that anyway. She said "i'm the only one working" yea clearly! That's why I patiently waited for you to finish yapping with the previous customer. And that sounds like a scheduling issue which should not be taken out on the customer. Furthermore just because you are the only one working doesn't mean that you shouldn't be able to help several customers at the same exact time. I used to work retail, it's just not that hard. She said "i'm sorry you FEEL that way", aka the perfect way to invalidate another persons concerns. I'm sorry you feel that way is bs, and is not "i'm sorry". She tried to deny that she provided horrible service and I told her to roll the security tapes. I said it's a store with cameras so roll the tape and let's see how long after I enter the store before you even acknowledge my existence...I'll wait. Not a word. The sales person clearly judged me off of how I look. I'm an attorney, but it doesn't take an attorney to see the holes in her "i'm the only one working" argument. This happened around 6:45pm on Tuesday Sept. 26th. She said that her name was Amanda, if I remember correctly. This is not the first time I've been in this store and been completely ignored. I drove to the sephora in the Chandler mall for actual customer service. Sephora needs to do something about this location. It makes you not want to shop at Sephora and I've been vib rouge as long as it's existed. I contacted the Sephora vib rouge hotline immediately after and the customer service on the phone was good, let's see if I get a follow up call.
