  • So to start I want to say I enjoyed my dessert and small plate it was delicious. The service was great and my husband and I enjoyed a nice late night treat. However, my rating comes from two things. I am pretty anal about leaving tip as I have worked in the serving industry and currently work as a hostess part time so I understand the need to leave a good tip. Well our bill came to 41.15 and I left $8 cash and 0.00 the tip on the receipt signed and thought nothing else. Fast forward a week and I notice on my bank statement that the total came to 51.15. Confused I look back at my receipts cause again anal and I keep all records the waitress added an additional $10. Now I'm not a tightwad but I feel very upset that I was taken advantage and if it happens to me what's to say it won't happen to someone else. Again service was great and I tipped appropriately what possessed this server to go beyond that and take more. So I call management and leave a voicemail she was prompt to respond to me however the overall attitude surrounding the incident seemed SUPER UNCONCERNING. To the point that she just handed me a ten dollar bill and thought nothing else was warranted for an explanation or steps moving forward. Now mind you this is my first visit to this restaurant and for this to happen it just leaves a horrible taste in my mouth and I dont want to come back when management seems to be unsympathetic to customers needs.I'm getting in touch with owners just because I dont feel the situation was handled in a way to comfort me to say come back we value our customers. My advice be mindful and if you get a server named Tara dot your eyes and cross your T's.
