  • This is one of my favorite little tucked away places that not many people seem to know about. It's the only non-chain restaurant to have survived in the Esplanade, as far as I know. I've been going here since it opened, and have never been disappointed. The prices are a little steep, but I'd imagine it's not cheap to rent that little space on this property. It's worth it, the quality is superb. My favorite is the Parisien sandwich, with the salad. Very simple, very fresh, very good. The pasties are beautiful and delicious also. It's just like stepping into a little cafe in France. I've been here for lunch and dinner, not breakfast yet.. And as an extra bonus, if you speak French you can practice with the owners who are from France. I don't speak very well- they are patient and very nice, unlike some people you might encounter in Paris! Check this place out, you'll be glad you did!!! BTW, they now have a liquor license (they didn't when they opened), so you can get a glass (or bottle) of wine too.
