| - This hotel, as previously mentioned, was formerly the Imperial Palace. While it had a face lift (paint, furniture, some remodeling), it's like putting lip stick on a pig.
The rooms have the older style air conditioner units--very loud. Rooms are small. Bathrooms have no tubs. Soap, shampoo, and body wash are mounted on the wall. Worse yet--whatever brand they're using is very cheap and has dried out my hair over the past few days. Additionally, hot water is scarce in the morning, and the cleaning staff doesn't even replace your hand soap.
We had corporate meetings here and the air conditioning went out yesterday (it was 110 outside). Their solution? After 5 hours, bring in a 4' wide fan that you can't hear the presenters over.
Check in is a horrific wait--30-45 mins. Staff is nice but in today's day and age, it's ridiculous.
This hotel should be imploded and rebuilt to make way for a newer, modernized hotel with utilities that work.
