  • It's not often that you visit a company and that every single employee you interact with is amazing. Where every single person goes the extra mile for you and makes you feel welcome and at ease and answers all your questions without making you feel stupid or rushed. I had my consult months and months ago, and bombarded Josh Welch-Adams and Jo with so many questions before taking the plunge and booking my Lasik surgery. From the moment I arrived the day of my surgery, every single person who tested my eyes or ran through paperwork with me or prepped me, each of them was super knowledgeable, confident, reassuring and encouraging. Dr. Thomas Nagy was my surgeon and he was absolutely fantastic. One of the friendliest doctors I've met and a surgeon with a great bedside manner. The nurses kept me calm and encouraged me trough the short procedure - rubbing my arm for comfort and support. And just like that it was over and I was recovering. All of the instruction for post op are easy to follow and straightforward. You get "stylish" pair of sunglasses to wear around for a few days too!! I went in with a -6 prescription in both of my eyes, severe nearsightedness and astigmatism, and this procedure has changed my life. I'm almost 48 hrs post op and my vision is not 20/20 yet, due to some swelling but I am so confident in my team at Lasik MD and in the healing process, I have no doubt that I'll be at 20/20 soon. The lifetime warranty is an absolute must in my opinion - the best bang for your buck!! I don't think anyone would be paying less than $1000 for the procedures they offer despite some misleading advertising you may see. For my prescription I ended up paying just under $4000 for both eyes including the lifetime warranty, so don't be fooled into thinking it'll be a cheap procedure. It won't. However, it IS tax deductible, so that's a bonus. I just honestly can't recommend these guys enough. And I honestly don't understand the crappy reviews on here. You get what you put into this procedure - they can't keep your eyes from the natural deterioration that comes with age, but they will do everything they can to get you to 20/20 vision without glasses. And comparatively, they're much cheaper and have better warranty than places like Mitchell Eye Centre. If you're interested, go for a consult. They don't pressure you into booking or tell you that their way is the only way... they give you your options and put the info in your hands to make an informed decision about their specific clinic and the services offered. And again, EVERYONE is so friendly and caring and want to see you succeed. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Lasik MD!! You guys made this life changing moment in my life possible
