  • I have stayed at the MGM before and said I would not return. A friend had not been to MGM so I shared my thoughts with her and decided to give her the opportunity to stay here. Our room was in the West Wing. Although the room decor was nice it was extremely small! Had I known when I booked I would have made another choice. We were not offered the choice to upgrade as others were. The bathroom barely had any counter space- esp for two women! At night I could see the lights that are projected onto the building. Yes, the blackout curtains work if you adjust them accordingly. We both agreed we weren't there for the room and had no intention of spending a lot of time in it. It was adequate but not the spacious luxury I'm use to. MGM has everything you could want. My biggest beef is it is too enormous! It takes forever to get anywhere. Room to Casino is a hike. Room to food is a hike. Room to an exit is a hike. I prefer a more intimate place I can find my way easily and quickly. My friend agreed too that she will not be returning for this reason.
