  • While I have had multiple awesome experiences at this hosp. Even when I did not have insurance, I have to say this last trip with my husband will be my last trip there. After taking him to urgent care for leg pain, and swelling they believed he had a blood clot, and told us to go directly to the er. Well, after spending several hours on a bed in the hallway, the finally took him to check his leg, and found nothing, no iv's no blood work, nothing. We were actually put into a room for five minutes, before they sent him home, with a script for pain medicine. Um imagine my suprise wed night when my husband called barely able to breath, telling me he thought he was dying. He was at work, he drove himself, as we only have car and the er at banner Estella was only a couple miles away, they helped him into the er, and to our suprise he was just minutes away from death. He had a huge blood clot that had now made its way to his lungs, and had he waited a few more minutes would have killed him. So now with him just getting out of icu, and still here at the hosp. For we do not know how much longer, I am not happy to say the least. Thanks for nothing banner thunderbird, we will never trust you again.
