  • I can't say enough good things about Beat In Show since the new ownership took over! We've been taking our baby Kora here for a nail trim for several months, but when the new owner bought the business, the care skyrocketed to new heights! Our girl is a white pit mix, and prone to horribly itchy skin. The vet wanted to do about $500 worth of 'tests' on her ears, give her steroids, and possibly refer us to an allergist for more expensive tests. We took her for a nail trim, and the owner got on the ground with her, smelled her, and said she has a yeast problem! She recommended ear drops, grain free food, and raw goats milk. While it hasn't completely cured all her issues, she's scratching less and definitely shedding less, which is such a bonus! Yesterday, we took her in for a bath, and she was bathed in hypoallergenic shampoo and conditioner, and smells so good! Hopefully this will help with the scratching too! We never expected to get such solid advice from a groomer, but I'm now realizing they see all sorts of animal issues, and tend to be much more naturalistic in their approach than vets. She has helped make such a difference for our baby, and we can't recommend this establishment highly enough!
