So it's Monday night, our last night in Vegas. The hotel had begged us with offers to come and visit the Foundation Room on the 63rd floor, 'Vegas's longest running nightclub.'. Brayden, a gentleman near the elevators and casino floor accosted us a twice since we had been staying at the hotel (Mandalay Bay).
We were given these tickets for free cover before midnight and also a free cocktail. We get there just a few minutes before midnight and take the elevator up to the top. Getting off we approach the bar, show our drink tickets and were refused... it was only a few minutes after and the elevator ride took a minute. Gee wiz!
After the disappointment with the bar, we went outside to see the view. Oh and what a view! Very much worth the ride up. We snapped some photos and vibed with the music a little. We went back inside to dance and the place was almost a ghost town.
I get that it's a Monday but the place was empty!
We stayed a little, danced by ourselves in the aisle near the bar and left as they were closing just before 1am.
Cool vibe, neat place, great views- too bad no people!
