  • Took the family up for a day trip to the zoo here on Monday. Be prepared to do lots of walking. This place is very big. For us it was hot and there is not a lot of shade. Even most of the animals were just lying around not moving. The refillable souvenir slushie cup was a life saver though. We still stayed almost 5 hours and didn't even hit all the exhibits. But since we are Buffalo Zoo members we did get 50% off admission in. I'd go back again but make it a cool spring or fall day next time.
