| - This place is the absolute worst business I have ever dealt with. First off - don't be fooled by how nice the actual store is, it is very spacious and their pieces are very nice. I enjoyed being in there before I actually became a customer and had to deal with them.
Post-sale this place is an absolute nightmare. I ordered a bed-frame, mattress and a storage bench for my bedroom. I was told the bench is on back-order but I could receive the mattress and frame within a few days. This came as scheduled, the delivery guys who assembled my stuff let me know that I would actually need another piece to be able to sleep on it, as the king bed requires 2 boxes underneath and the sales associate sold me one. No big deal in all honestly, we all make mistakes but this was the beginning of the nightmare. I got my other piece a few days later, so I couldn't sleep in the bed when planned but I can deal with that.
I was also told that since my bench was backordered, I would be able to add items onto that order for free shipping (I paid shipping on the matress and frame previously).
I came in and ordered a sectional couch, I was told if I bought the modeled one, I'd be able to have it in three days. Apparently after the order they either lied or massively screwed up and my couch wont be ready. Three weeks later, Living Spaces has called me and my girlfriend around 15-20 (no exxageration) times, I have spent 20+ minutes on the phone with them four times explaining that I only want my bench to be delivered when my couch is ready to avoid having to pay their $100 shipping fee, spoken to probably dozens of different callcenter employees explaining this - yet they still call me every day to schedule a delivery of the bench when my couch is not ready.
I recently called them back to ask if the couch was now ready, they said that somehow my order got cancelled (I 100% did not do anything that could have possibly done this, I paid 1/3 the price that day in the store!) and now they are unable to put together my bench and couch for delivery.
The store is very nice and the employees are friendly, but they are either clueless or in the dark about how their business actually runs. This place is an absolute nightmare. I feel like I am floating in the abyss here without any idea what to do.
I'm also lost how this trasaction goes any other way aside from - I want this couch, heres the money, deliver it on xyz, thank you.
