  • Post banh mi and pho I wandered down the street past Cosmic Treats and was deeply confused. What is this place? It was a very narrow, unflattering, and not an appetizing display of their sandwiches (which were haphazardly tossed into a windowed freezer, piled and touching the window why what are you doing there.) So I passed on the ice cream sandwiches and opted for the Rhubarb Ginger. Ginger Rhubarb? Not exactly photogenic, it was, however, deeply unapologetic with the amount of ginger present and I was feeling it. Not a ton of the 'barb on the tongue so it was more just a Ginger Ginger flavor. The coconut base is not my favorite since it has a tendency to be a bit more watery, but grateful that my nut allergy friends have a place to nom on plant-based ice creams. I would definitely recommend the not-this location.
