I've been on a mission to find the best pedicure spot on the West Side (yo) since my regular pedicurist left my usual salon. Sadly, this isn't it.
The massage chairs were better than most little nail joints, but the service was not. The technician did not say a single word to me. I though it might have been a language issue (it happens sometimes) until he began speaking in perfect English to another technician. Instead he communicated with me using little taps to indicate which foot he wanted to work on.
This would have been no big deal if the pedi was excellent. It wasn't. After a bit of soaking, he didn't really exfoliate, leaving my soles largely in the same condition they were in to start. The massage was more like a brief lotion application, using the bare minimum of lotion. His cuticle trim and polish application were fantastic.
Sadly the pedi cost about $15 more than the other salons in the area that do a better job.
