  • Checked this place out with some friends on a Saturday afternoon/evening. Kind of in a weird shopping center thats pretty quiet and dead. $5 entrance fee per person into an area with loads of different board games, etc. I mean, considering the cost of a single board game times however many they had (hundreds...), its a pretty good deal. And a lot of games is essentially a play once and never play again kind of deal. The $5 is for ONE all-day entry. They allow you to run to your car or something real quick but its $3 re-entry if you decide to go out for food and come back. They have staff roaming around so ... you get the deal XD Upon entry, its the "retail" Area where its for... of course retail. then after the cashier, there are a lot of "rooms" and areas kind of "sectioned" off with tables throughout. Being the weekend, the place was pretty busy. Some friends were there already and i had joined them later in the day after some work done. After some other friends had arrived, we had went off on our own to play the Harry Potter board game. Consists of, of course, 7 games that follows the books. It was a deck-building game, which we had experienced previously, with the game Legendaries, that a friend had owned. At first, during game 1, took us a while to get all the rules down, so the seemingly gruelingly long game 1 ended fairly quick, and we breezed through 2 and 3 fairly easily. Once we started game 4, oh boy difficulty went like 10 fold. Aside from the gaming areas, they have a side cafe that serves drinks, sandwiches, snacks. Friend had ordered nachos and a veggie plate originally. The nachos were kind of plain and lacked toppings. The pretzels on the menu apparently is the hard snack type (similar to what you get on an airplane). Veggie plate is decent with a variety of baby carrots, celery sticks, baby tomatoes, and broccoli florettes with a side of ranch. I had ate before hand so i didnt order anything. You have the option to start a tab or just close it out too (lol i feel like im at a bar...) Imo id rather have a meal before coming here, play a few hours, grab a water maybe, and go out for dinner. 3 dollar re-entry doesnt seem like a large amt but it kinda stacked (imo) to the original and make it seem like entry was $8. Definitely coming back another time to finish off that game with friends, hopefully game 6 and 7 wouldn't take so long but we imagine its gonna take as long as we did with game 1-5 Lol ... Only thing that sucks is they absolutely dont let you bring outside food or drinks. Would be great if they did but understandable i guess. Overall, not bad. Noise level is louder than average but what you expect of people who are playing games.
