SOYOOOO think you can dance? ;)
Soyo is my sidebae because oftentimes my bf and I go line by line down our yelp bookmarks and can't agree to what place to eat at, but SOMEHOWWW Soyo ends up being the backup we can fistbump with agreement on and it never fails.
PORK BELLY ($15) - yuMMO i'd say it's a widdo pricey for the portion considering $15 can get you AYCE pork belly elsewhere, but it was cooked perfectly and the included salad combated the pork fat well. Me like.
GALBI TANG ($12) - AHH, just the soup my clogged nose needed! It's a comforting, clear broth rather than the bright red spicy soondoobu broth, no spice at all. Clear noodles, chunks of boiled beef ribs and green onions swam in the bountiful bowl. Like I said, it's very comforting and simple so don't expect to jizz in your pants via flavor explosion. 10/10 would eat when im feeling sick again.
SOONDOOBU ($9) - consistently delivers. Korean soup for the seoul!! (heh...he...see what i did there?)
A meal for 2 could probably run you around $30...not bad! The greatest convenience is THEY'RE OPEN LATE!! Forget steak and eggs, ILL CHOOSE SOYO FOR DRUNCHIES ANY DAY!!!
So come here and enjoy the atmosphere. Come here if you can't afford a ticket to Seoul. Sip on some korean soup and revel in the beauty of how smooth the waitresses faces look (without being creepy of course - i just wanna know what their Korean skincare routine is).
