| - Not living here a month and I dealt w/roaches, spiders, termites, and horrible plumbing.
I called pest control about my bug issue and the guy just came and sprayed around, which mind you did NOT work! I've spotted reaches in my cabinets still. I had to wait 3 weeks for my termite infestation to be looked at. I was told they were coming from the out side, which is probably because they never clean my area of the complex! I live in front of the park by rocks and I never had my area cleaned, I see the grass area cleaned weekly but not my area! I had my guest bathroom snaked 3 times already. I had them fix my leaking faucet as well and I wake up to a water filled bubble.
When you call maintenance to come fix an issue they say it maybe a couple days, better yet they come fix your issues and leave their mess!
Also the rest of the pics were my move in ready apartment. The paint job in the apartments are horrible, looks like a toddler painted the apartments, they even painted over a bobby pin in one of my cabinets, which won't come off. Speaking of cabinets, they're all uneven, idk who put them on but they're all uneven!
I was 6 months pregnant when moving in and I had to clean the entire apartment top to bottom and had to still pay to have my carpets cleaned due to a bad pet odor. When signing the lease, I was told they just put air fresheners in the apt to hide the smell which did not work. I was told the carpets were cleaned 2 weeks prior although, as you can see there were bobby pins, along w/a carpet full of hair. Oh and that pic of a air vent and loose screw, that fell on my carpet cleaners head!
Try to tell the leasing office about your issues and they act like you're crazy or lying. The apartments were built very long ago, therefore you will have a lot of issues. Rather than acting blind to the issue I'd rather just hear they'll check it out. Yet, I have to explain my issue numerous of ways because they just don't understand!
Honestly don't waste your time and go somewhere else, I'm definitely going to be breaking my lease! For what you'll be paying, would you want to deal w/these issues?
