If I could give negative stars, I would. Worst customer service from any other internet company i have ever seen. I had an appointment for today between 8 and 10am. I have the transcript to prove it. I stayed home from work all day for this appointment. No one ever came. I tried to call Cox and all i got was a computer voice and never anyone to talk to, so I initiated a chat session. The guy, Edward said that my appointment was for tomorrow at 1 o'clock. I told him that it was not true and I had proof of the chat session. He said that it was changed to tomorrow at 1. I asked why he did not let me know about this and he said the system did it. I asked why this system did not let me know about the change in the appointment and he said nothing. I asked to speak to supervisor and he cut me off of the chat. I had to call and chat with another person and got someone named Sandy who acted as if she didn't know what was going on either. I had her read the notes and all she could do was offer me 20 bucks for my inconvenience. 20 bucks does not make up for missing a whole day of work and does not make up for the fact that I have to be here tomorrow for another two hour window when they may or may not show up.
I hate this company.
I have asked repeatedly for a supervisor to call me but they refuse to do so and tell me that they only work through chat. I am looking is hard as I can to find another company. I am sick of the Internet going down and having no service, and I'm sick of her phone going down and having no dial tone.
Business must be a really good if they don't give a darn about the customers they have. There needs to be another Internet provider for this area
oh, and by the way, I spend more that $80 a month for horrible service
