I had my oil changed and tires rotated on 9/21. I was told I needed all new tires, two were 2/32 and two were 3/32. I always get my tires from Costco so I went there to get my warranty prorated and after they calibrated their digital gage in front of me, showed me one tire was 7/32, two were 4/32, and one was 3/32. I had a flat tire and had to get one replaced at one point. My question is how can North Hills Toyota tell me wildly different amounts of tread depth than Costco? Are they just trying to sell me new tires, or did they not even check? What else didn't they check on my "multi point inspection"? These are great questions that I am still waiting for a response as of 10/8. Don't forget they include a "shop charge" that is just more money in their pocket that some dealerships don't charge.
