| - Great airport. You can get there in about 15 minutes from downtown. If you have TSA pre-check, you can honestly get there 15 minutes before takeoff and probably be OK, though I wouldn't "daredevil" it too much if you can squeeze an extra 15 minutes of cushion time.
It's a nice and clean airport inside. So many airports these days look like dumps (think LaGuardia or JFK in NYC, for example) and are, in the words of Larry Summers, "an embarrassment" (see his Democracy Journal review of Piketty book). But this one has a couple nice souvenir shops, coffee shop, and a Great Dane: Airport Edition, plus lots of seats with power sockets in them so you can work if you don't want to get there a split second before takeoff (like I do).
Parking: look, if it's not snowing like crazy, do the super cheap parking. It's like 3 minutes of extra walk, and we can all use the exercise. Covered parking not only doesn't do you any good, but it could actually frustrate you since there are hardly any free spots, and you end up on the roof. All the time you waste searching for spots equals the time it would have taken you to walk from cheap-o parking.
