  • I've gone a few times and decided to try the Nugenisis treatment. I showed up without an appointment and they told me they'd fit me in. It was pretty busy so after about an hour, I got up to leave. One of the staff stopped me & advised they had called in another staff member to deal with me, which was thoughtful. I thanked them profusely before and after for that. When I sat down, I realized why they were backlogged. Each customer on either side of me had complaints. Listen ladies... I get it, you want your nails done a certain way and you expect a certain result. But why would you wait until BOTH HANDS are done before you start inspecting? On one side, a customer commented that the colour wasn't true to the swatch, despite being a repeat customer. Okay, fair. But did you not notice that as the polish was applied? On my other side, a customer already had a fairly in depth nail application done, and decided at the last minute that she wanted to change that one statement nail to all of her hand. Listening to both of these things going on made my realize what took so long. But, in a testament to the staff, they handled it like pros. They just politely handled the issues, even when the one customer murmured about being there for so long (...what about the staff that are working all day? Come on...) I found the application very quick and the woman applying it was quiet and effective. I'm not a big fan of chit-chat, so I appreciated that. The Nugenisis feels a lot less lighter than a shellac application, so I'm looking forward to seeing how long it lasts. The staff said it should last 4-5 weeks. Charge was $40. Another bonus, they introduced a loyalty card, which will keep me coming back. :)
