rev:text	Horrible...stay away! Took my 13 yo son there for a sprained ankle, checked in, gave insurance card (BC/BS) and drivers license. After waiting for an hour, the receptionist calls my son's name to the front desk, mind you he's a minor, so I go up to the desk and the receptionist proceeds to tell me that she has to collect a "$200.00 deposit on a debit or HSA card". I clearly thought she had the wrong patient thinking we were cash pay. She abruptly says to me, "I know you have insurance but it's not guaranteed to pay for services today". I proceed to say, "I verified with my insurance and there is no co-pay and services rendered are covered 100%, would you like me to call them so they can tell you?" She proceeds to say "Regardless, I need to collect a $200 deposit before your son can be seen". I then say, "How does your billing work if I give you $200 and then you get paid 100% from BC/BS?"...all she could say is that it takes 48 hrs for billing and they will let you know how much they charge your card..... Whaaaaaaat?!?!?! I seriously could not believe what I was being told and the rudeness from this employee. I asked her if I had state funded insurance we wouldn't have this conversation... she said yep! I was mortified! They obviously overcharge all the time because a lady came in there very upset about a bill she received. We left as fast as we could! Stay far away from this place and if you have a kiddo, take them down the street to Mendys Place at JCL Deer Valley.
