Was disappointed with our lunch at the steakhouse. When looking at the menu posted outside we decided we wanted the prime rib sliders which was on the main menu. When we went to order the waitress said those aren't available for lunch but she would ask the chef. She came back to say they couldn't make them, it was too early. BOOOO The sweet tea had black gook floating at the bottom for starters. Fished it out with my straw and it looked like black slime. The manager came & apologized & offered 20% off our bill, which was nice. I then ordered a bottled beer to be safe. For food I ordered the Caesar salad with chicken. Way too much dressing on it which made the salad very mushy and the chicken was extremely dry. The croutons were very stale and not crunchy at all.
My mom had the potato skins which were good, although you could tell the potato had been held at temperature for quite sometime. Didn't taste fresh.
My son had the kids cheeseburger with fries, which all in all was just OK, nothing spectacular.
A couple was seated in the booth behind us and asked if they could order the coconut shrimp from the main menu...guess what...they were able to.
We liked the tourist atmosphere but they seriously need to dust the back of the booths and up the food quality. Our waitress Tammie was great and checked on us often.
After a few sights & events my son saw Icee Machines at one location & was so excited to have that treat. Buuuut the machines were broken. BOOOO
The gun show was cute, for kids especially. Would like to see more interaction with the crowd. The petting zoo was lacking. Especially for a $5 entrance fee.
The bathrooms were clean & well maintained. Shops are WAY over priced and with a $5 parking fee I would have liked to have seen more of the characters interacting & mingling.
