| - I'm happy to report that the quality of La Brioche has improved since my last visit. I tried La Brioche for dinner (previously, I had only been for brunch) and was pleasantly surprised. During dinner, La Brioche serves a modest wine list, with a rotating list of entrees and small plates. The bread they served was excellent, especially their seeded multigrain bread.
For an appetizer, I had the cherry walnut salad, which was served with a tangy vinaigrette and delicious local cherries. For my main course, I had the Chicken "Not" Pie, which was basically a deconstructed chicken pot pie. The bone-in chicken breast was tender and juicy, and the veggies and puff pastry were cooked perfectly.
As a side, I ordered the seasonal vegetables, which were also pretty good (though slightly undercooked) and served with a curry sauce. Don't miss their desserts. I had the chocolate decadence cake with espresso and wasn't disappointed. Overall, would recommend.
