I've stayed at the Cleveland Clinic Guesthouse repeatedly for the last few years every time I come to town for a conference held across the street at the Intercontinental. I waited until the last minute to get a room and all of the rooms at the Intercontinental were booked so I was left with the Guesthouse.
The Guesthouse is THE walking distance choice. In case you didn't know, there is not a single no name hotel in these United States with similar qualities and amenities as the Guesthouse...this place is owned and operated by the same people who operate the 5-star Intercontinental and it shows.
Not only are the staff attentive and courteous, they readily offered assistance before we even asked for it. We had packages shipped to the Intercontinental and they assisted us with getting them returned to the other hotel for their return.
The rooms are outstanding (for this kind of place) and my ONLY concern about staying here is the deli downstairs. Their food is horrid. I've never liked eating it and I don't think I could manage to ever eat it again. However, for a 10 minute walk you can eat in the hospital's food court and I did just that.
CCG is a decent place to stay in Cleveland. Don't underestimate it.
