| - Recently used a 5 visit pass at this place which I got off Groupon. Quad is a spinning studio and does not have any strength training equipment or machines. Overall I'd say the place just ok. I called twice, got voicemail both time, left messages and never got a call back. Started to use the pass and discovered the staff to be hit and miss. Either they are really friendly and helpful or they are just bland and/or full of themselves. One instructor seems like he might be a biker, but has poor communication skills and wasn't friendly at all. The two other instructors I had were great, very pleasant and helpful. The biking area is nice, just too bad the windows look onto a brick wall to the building a foot away. The men's changeroom is odd,the shower area is very small, there is three showers in one area (no curtains or private stalls) and all very close together with a small entrance to them. No way three guys could shower all at the same time, even two people is tight. There is an uniral in the change room against a wall with no privacy, people are changing behind while one uses it. The prices are pretty expensive, especially considering the lack of proper change room facilities. Each time I went the bikes half empty, maybe if it was a bit cheaper it would fill up more. The bikes are a bit tight together also, fine when your on them but if it was a full class it would be uncomfortable to do the stretching off the bike and tight to get people in and out. The music was great from all the classes I went. Each time it was pretty loud (which I like) but if that's not your thing then it might bug ya. Sure you could position yourself behind the speakers but then you'll be pretty far from the instructor (which might be bad if your new to it and want to see them). There is limited paid street parking there. Overall I think it's ok/nice, but can't afford those prices so will just do my own bike workout at my gym, The Training Room (which is GREAT) and then bike outside in the warmer months.
