  • I wish I can give 0 star. This is a review of a sales person we dealt with on last Saturday. My husband and I both owned chevy cars (Malibu and Impala... but not anymore!), we went to get a bigger car and trade Impala in for our growing family. Our sales person came up to us as soon as we parked and immediately started asking questions about our needs. We said we're looking to buy Traverse and that my husband's father works for GM so we'd be qualified for a discount. Then he started asking how much we're looking to pay a month and etc... we answered but we said we were open to whatever... also we mentioned that it's more about whether or not we like the car. If we like the car, it really doesn't matter how we will pay for the car. The guy kept asking what model (basic vs. top of the range) so we said let's look at a mid-range car. He drove us around just to tell us that the type of the car we are looking for is not available for test drive and he didn't even offer to show us any other model. He seemed like he was busy and he didn't have time to sell the car. outrageous!! My husband and I looked at each other and gave each other the signal to leave immediately... we were very offended the way he was treating us. We left Chevy dealer and went straight to the dealer across the street. We bought a minivan that day - believe it or not, minivans are rockin' nowadays! He lost a sale. Don't know what gave him an idea that we couldn't afford a Traverse. Just because we mentioned that we would like to get a GM family discount? His sales pitch the whole time to us was 0% APR and the GM family discount. Hey, car sales person, you're supposed to sell the CAR. So you should start doing your JOB in selling it by showing the best features and all the bells and whistles to impress your customers!
