  • Wow I'm without words, I thought I had my "go to" spot for all my firearm needs until I came in today around 12 noon. Considering I have had several conversations with the owner about his time at Citadel back in the day when I used to shop there and a neutral friend we both know I figured this was now my spot. He referred me to a NFA gun attorney to establish my trust and after getting all my paperwork I came in today excited with documents in hand and 3k in my pocket. He was busy at the font computer as I walked in but didn't look up to acknowledge me. I finally got his attention but he seemed very agitated. I figured showing him my paperwork would make things exciting but he was very dismissive. I asked if this was all I need to file for a suppressor and his response was "I'm not an attorney" and turned back to his computer. WOW! He straight up left me speechless, not sure if he didn't recognize me but damn is that really how you are going to treat a customer? I didn't know what else to say, I asked if he needed the paperwork and he responded with a short yes. He may not be an attorney but it sounds like he knows what he needs to keep everything legal and the ATF off his nuts but doesn't know how to give a proper response to someone less informed. So I was still unclear about the entire process and it didn't seem like he gave a shit about selling anything. I asked if he needed the originals or would copies work, at this time I was just trying to give him another shot considering our past relationship being pretty pleasant. No luck, he was still just as dismissive and short so I grabbed my docs and left with my money. It has been awhile since we last spoke and refereed me to the attorney so I'm not sure if this is new behavior or maybe he's just been doing so well he just simply doesn't care about his customers or making new sales. Gun stores are a dime a dozen in this town, go somewhere where your business and money will be appreciated. Thanks for the referral and congratulations on so much success that you don't give a shit about customers anymore. I hope we all can get to that level someday, #lifegoals
