| - NEVER again! I have a Yorkie. She is a silky hair yorkie, and just barely 9 months old. I came to this store due to the reviews, and at the time there was only positive reviews. The first time I went they had cut her uneven and had missed huge spots on her neck. I specifically asked that they DO NOT cut her topknot as I liked that look. They cut it off so short they could barely get a ribbon on her head.
I called them back and they offered to reclip her and to fix the problem areas, had to shave her tight. They redid the cut, but it was far shorter than I had wanted. It was ok, and at least it wasn't so uneven. Unfortunately there was nothing to do about her clipped off topknot.
I was told then that the manager "does the best clips," so we will make sure that your dog is always cut by the owner. The owners initials were NOT on my dogs paperwork. This was lie number 1.
They offered a Free cut the next time I came in. I waited till she grew out and then took her back today. I came to pick her up and took a quick look at her and was so angry, I just left the store. We had asked that they shave her tummy tight as we are going to Kentucky for the summer. Half the tummy was shaved, the other half had long, original, UNCUT hair. Again the sides of her face were too long, and they had unevenly clipped her ears, and worst of all, they clipped off HER EYELASHES??? They also AGAIN cut the top knot.
The gal asked for a $40 payment and I said "I was told this would be a complimentary cut?" Five min later the girl comes back and says "Oh yes, I am sorry." I don't say a word about how bad the cut is, and I noticed when she was gone that the box marked "teeth cleaned" said NO. I asked her if Lucy's teeth were cleaned, "Oh yes, they were." Yet.. right in front of her, clearly visible, was the box checked NOT cleaned. Lie #2.
I didn't complain, I simply left the store. I was so pissed. It is NOT
worth your money, or your care of your dog to ever take them to this store. Today I put out how bad this cut was to all the 35,000 employees I work with in this town. I sent photos of how they screwed up her hair cut again. What they have suceeded in doing is making very sure THIS FORMER customer advertizes that people NEVER take any dog they care about to this TERRIBLE groomer!
It begs the question... "If the owner is the best groomer, why are they hiring employees who CANT groom a dog?"
