| - As my mom and I exited the Cosmopolitan hotel on Sunday, June 29th, a lady stood outside of this store and handed my mom a diamond shaped sample packet of moisturizer and as we walked away she said "oh wait, don't forget your eye cream samples". I paused for her to hand them to me and she grabbed my mom and led her to this young, rude and arrogant kid who immediately put eye gel on her face without even letting her decide if she wanted it or not. It all went so fast, and by the time I caught up to them in the store (she was rushed in that quickly) she already had her makeup ruined and eye gel put on one side of her face. He then began to lecture about how it is better than Botox, the gel, and I corrected him that eye gel is not the same "animal" as Botox and that he can't and shouldn't compare the two. Comparing the two can get thie store in legal trouble. Botox is a trademarked injectable, you can't compare cream to Botox.. He brushed me off and THEN SAID to my mom "so, you used to smoke I see..." and was pointing at her lip. She has never smoked. How rude and unethical he is. I immediately cut him off, grabbed her and sternly said "you should never criticize someone just to make a sale, we're out of here". She felt so down and ugly when she left. Super unethical sale practices and I will warn everyone I talk to to boycott this store. I come to Vegas 3 times a year and will forever avoid this place JUST because of this young kid (he sounded European) As we walked out , I turned around to look at the guy and he and all of his colleagues at the counter were just staring at us with shocked and blank faces. My mom is so sweet and if I wasn't there he would have probably made her feel like a total piece of crap had I not intervened when I did. I work for a Dermatologist and he injects Botox and has never once ever criticized someone's skin in order to make money fixing it. He asks what the person is looking to improve and then he gives open suggestions without cutting the person down into a million pieces. My advice: AVOID AVOID AVOID this store!
