I'm not surprised to read about how awful the customer service is. I've been to this shop twice, once to buy filters and once to actually sit down and have a coffee. Instead of helping me with the Chemex filters, the guy at the counter just decided to tell me that they were the wrong filters once i actually paid for them. Fine.
Then I went there for a coffee.
"Can I have a coconut milk latte?"
"What?"
"Can I have a coconut milk latte?"
"no." Then a blank stare. I asked him what milks they DO have, and then he said they have almond, etc. Glad I can prompt you on how to actually do you your job. Really sick of Toronto customer service attitudes. Back to Starbucks for me
