I went to Pinnacle Nissan to trade 2 late model SUVs for 2 new SUVs. The first problem was that the 2 SUVs I saw online, and was interested in, were actually part of their rental fleet! Why show new cars on your website that aren't even available as new cars?? I guess classic bait and switch?
Anyway you would almost think they would want to sell 2 cars, right?? I picked out 2 other SUVs. The numbers they kept coming back with were ridiculous. Who pays full sticker price?? Plus the dealer adds?? Do they really think people are stupid?? I'll make a very long story short... I wound up at another Nissan dealer (NOT a Van Tuyl dealer), bought the 2 new SUVs, both a higher trim level than Pinnacle had available... for $550/month LESS than Pinnacle's best offer.
$550/month X 72 months @ 0% int = $39,600!!!! Pinnacle wanted to charge me almost $40k more for 2 lesser SUVs?? How does this place stay open? Why does anyone buy a car there?
I've bought 7 cars in the last 4 years. And I'm sure I'll continue to buy new cars in the future. I can say with confidence that I will NOT buy from Pinnacle Nissan.
Shady, dishonest, and way too expensive are the best ways to describe this place. Save yourself a bunch of money and shop somewhere else. Anywhere else!
