  • Meeting Debra, we were so e cited she seems so high energy and that she really cared about her new budding business. We booked three events with her, stag, wedding ceremony, reception. It was a bit odd that she kept asking us for more money every week stating that she needed to buy new things because she didn't have an inventory yet....okay you're just starting out no problem.....but for three events and you want all the money up fronts, hmmm. Like I said I was so happy and excited to see what Debra hatched for our stag....it was great! Simple and pretty much exactly how we wanted it! I should mention Debra was in constant communication with us and had an outline of everything we agreed upon. Debra kept telling me how amazing our wedding was going to look and how much work she was putting into it, I was so grateful and was ready to get my photography team to take some professional photos for her to show. Unfortunately our wedding day came and that's where everything stopped. Our ceremony was nothing like we discussed for example we wanted white chair covers, we got green. I'm told by my bridal party that the set up and I'm guessing her husband who came was pretty rude and by listening to my husband-to-be when he was trying to tell them how it was actually suppose to be set up so all our guests had chairs. The reception, the bathrooms weren't done, the swagged out front? Some banner that had fallen. I will say it wasn't terrible, except for where is everything we agreed on? How about using the right colours? If it had been just that...I was so happy I didn't much care but then, Debra calls to tell us one of her lights had gone missing so we owe her $10, she then proceeded to go to our hall and take $10 out of our deposit and never again returned one of our phone calls. I work and have many contacts in the event business and was so excited to spread her name everywhere! Yeah not anymore. Hope the $10 was worth it to miss out on expanding your business. Thanks.
