  • New to Henderson. I couldn't find a dr that took my insurance so I went to urgent care. I needed my thyroid levels checked and my skin had dry spots. The nurse practitioner I saw asked about my history. So I laid it all out. He then jumped on me about my weight telling me I needed to see a therapist and he was upset that he couldn't help me. Snapping at me to not defend myself! I know I'm big, I know this. I never asked for help with weight loss!!!!! I wanted my blood work checked and something better then over the counter lotion for my skin! I was in full blown tears and he wouldn't stop! I was in complete shock at how I was treated and when he finely left the room to get my blood work started I walked out!! I've never been so embarrassed, self-conscious, and even ashamed of myself. He made me feel weak & pathetic. I'm sickened by how I was treated! I just wanted my thyroid check! I will NEVER go back! The wait is absolutely ridiculous! And they need to spray the waiting room for little bugs! If I could give negative stars I would!!!
