| - It is 112 degrees outside today. They quoted me a time frame of 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. today. It is now 2:50 p.m. and he has JUST shown up. It is 93 degrees in my house. My 4-year-old son and I are sweating profusely. Our pets are panting and miserable.
We called them at 12:30 p.m., because they hadn't arrived or called with an update, though they were already late and we were already sweltering in the oppressive heat. The operator said the repairman was supposed to be at my place already. While on hold, she called him and found that he'd made an unscheduled stop at a parts store, but told me that he'd be here within the hour. Just after 1 p.m. (now an hour beyond the time promised), he called to say it would be another hour, which would've put him here around 2 p.m. Almost an hour after that, he finally arrived.
Anyone who lives in the Arizona desert knows that having no A/C in the summertime heat is an emergency situation, especially when dealing with small children and pets.
At this point, he has just started the diagnosis, but there is nothing he can do to make up for the negligence and poor customer service before they even arrived.
Update: I was contacted by the owner the day I posted this. He made excuses for their behavior and blamed me UNTIL he noticed this review. At that moment, he offered me a 50% refund that would come to me via check the following Monday (two days later). Here we are three weeks later and I've received nothing. I am not surprised.
Second update: A month later, I still have nothing and now they've stopped accepting or returning my calls. It was only after I had my husband call and notify them that I'd be going to the media that they paid any attention.
After my first review, the owner begged me to take down this review in exchange for me taking down the review. I refused to promise, but did say I'd consider it. However, bad service is bad service and they've demonstrated it time after time with me. People need to know what they're dealing with here. They've not kept good to their word a single, solitary time. If I could give zero stars, I would. Mistakes happen. I don't expect perfection from anyone or any place. I do expect someone to give good customer service, which includes being good to one's word.
